The education of a child is a cooperative effort between the home and the school. With the merge of the two elementary buildings, a new PTA has been created. The AVSD PTA will be active for volunteer programs, student activities, and fundraising. The membership is a diverse group of parents, guardians, teachers, and those actively involved in providing children with various programs to support the educational process.
The AVSD PTA brings presentations, assemblies, and educational organizations to the school to provide students with a variety of activities to add to their every day learning opportunities.
