As part of the ongoing construction project at the new home field for the Springdale Dynamos, Allegheny Valley School District has locked the gates to the field. Construction workers have removed the old track surface as they prepare to lay the new track. Winter weather conditions, such as cold temperatures, ice and snow, prevent workers from being able to install the new track and the unfinished track poses a safety risk to the community. The gates will remain locked until construction workers install the new track and allow it to cure.
