Policy for Family Educational Trip and Educational Trips or Tours (Vacations, Cheerleaders, Sports, etc.):Students that plan to be absent from school for any kind of trip or tour, even if only for one day, will be required to obtain prior permission from the principal.Vacation forms are available in the main office; forms should be completed and returned to the main office at least one week prior to the trip.
Students are reminded that they are to be in the building by 7:40 a.m. when the warning bell rings.
Student Council petitions for the 2019-2020 school year are available in the main office. All petitions are to be turned into Mr. Herrington no later than
Friday, May 24th.
The Strawberry Festival needs student help throughout the day:cutting strawberries at Fat Cats from 9:30-11:00; setting up tables and chairs at the fire
hall on Spruce Street at 12:00; setting up tables at the park at 1:00; face painting in the park from 2:30-7:00; help with serving cake and ice cream;
cleaning up and putting away the tables and chairs at 7:00.
This year¹s Strawberry Festival is on Sunday, June 2nd; please see Ms. Sadowski if interested.
Reminder to students invited to the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Career Connections program: The application must be completed by Friday, May 24th.

Congratulations to the softball team for advancing to the W.P.I.A.L. Playoffs for the first time since the 2000 season! The girls will play a first round game today against Quigley. The game will be played at Shaler High School starting at 3:00 p.m. The bus time is 1:30 p.m. and early dismissal is at 1:15 p.m. Ticket prices are $5 for students and $7 for adults and are being sold at the gate.Good luck to the girls and GO DYNAMOS!!!
Sign-up sheets for the following 7th and 8th grade fall sports are available in the main office: boys’ soccer, girls’ soccer, girls’
basketball, and football.
There are also sign-up sheets in the main office for 2019-20 Varsity and JV boys’ soccer, JV and Varsity girls’ soccer, JV and Varsity girls’ volleyball,
and girl’s tennis.
Attention students in grades 7-9:The 2019 Boys and Girls Springdale Basketball Camp will be held on June 24th-27th at Springdale
High School.Please stop in the main office for more information and registration form.
